LANGUAGE OF THE CENTURY -VISUAL COMMUNICATION

PICTURES INSTEAD OF WORDS

WHY SHOULD WE REPRESENT OUR BUSINESS IN SOCIAL MEDIA?

WHAT IS VISUAL COMMUNICATION?

“It is expected that by 2021 the number of users of social networks in the world will reach 3.1 billion.  This is almost half the world's population“

A person spends 60,000 times more time on text recognition than image.  Just think about it - not 60 times, but 60 thousand times!  How (quickly in all the details and colors) to show the client a product, service, benefits?

Modern marketing has more than five thousand different tools.  At the same time, you have only 8 seconds to interest a potential customer with your offer. Communication should be fast, clear and imaginative.  That is why today visualisation comes first.

Visual marketing helps to perceive information faster, evoke emotions, appeal to the sensual experience of the client and even to form values.
It appeared in ancient Greece, around the 5th century BC, when a private shoe manufacturer stamped his sandals on the sole.

We suffer from information overload.

Each resident of the big city receiving 5,000 informational messages a day, and 3,000 of them are advertising.  Seth Godin writes about this in the book “Permission Marketing”.

Brands often choose aggressive marketing and constantly attack their client with “flashy” text content.

But people perceive such messages as informational noise and at best ignore it.  In the worst - they block spammers forever.

How to get around competitors and break through to your client, be it b2b, b2c or b2g?  Use visual communication.

Almost all of us are visual: in 83% of cases, memorisation of information takes place in a visual way.  A picture instantly affects a person on cognitive and emotional levels.

“Visual marketing will help you to find a shortest path to the consciousness of customers - through arguments, and to their heart - through emotions.“
